Inclusive Forests walks alongside communities from land security through to sustainable livelihoods.
Every community's journey begins with security.
Navigate IPRA, survey boundaries, and secure or renew your Certificate of Ancestral Domain Title (CADT).
Establish an Ancestral Domain Sustainable Development and Protection Plan (ADSDPP) and community governance structures.
With secure tenure and governance in place, your community can evaluate the opportunities available — carbon, agroforestry, ecotourism — and choose the path that fits your vision.
Trees that feed families and fight climate change.
Philippine cacao is among the world's finest. We help communities establish shade-grown cacao under existing forest canopy, creating a premium product that commands single-origin prices while sequestering carbon in both the canopy and the understory.
Highland arabica from the Cordillera commands specialty prices. Coffee cultivation on forest slopes prevents erosion, protects watersheds, and creates year-round employment. We connect communities to specialty buyers and support quality processing.
Bamboo sequesters carbon faster than any tree. Communities can harvest sustainably for construction, activated charcoal production, and engineered bamboo products while maintaining permanent carbon stock in the root system.
The Philippines has one of the longest coastlines in the world. Mangrove forests protect communities from typhoons, nurture fisheries, and sequester up to four times more carbon per hectare than tropical forests. We help coastal communities restore and protect mangrove ecosystems while building sustainable aquaculture and fisheries management.
Indigenous-led ecotourism creates dignified livelihoods while sharing culture and protecting landscapes. We help communities design, market, and manage tourism enterprises that bring visitors to their ancestral domains on their own terms.
We begin by listening. Every community is different, and our role is to understand your needs, your governance, and your vision.
We conduct participatory assessments of land tenure status, natural resources, community capacity, and market opportunities.
We support CADT applications, ADSDPP development, cooperative registration, and financial literacy training.
Together, we identify and develop the right mix of livelihoods -- agroforestry, carbon, ecotourism, or coastal resources.
We help communities access fair markets, responsible investors, and technical partners who respect their rights.
Our goal is to build capacity so communities don't need us anymore. We stay as long as we're needed, and leave when we're not.
